Matthew's Baptism

Even though we've been gone from Sunnyvale for three years, we are still very attached to our church from that area (Sunnyvale Presbyterian). We cannot say enough about how wonderful the people are and how much we miss them! When it came time to baptize Matty, we decided that it would mean a lot to us to have both of our boys baptized at the same church, so we traveled up to Sunnyvale on Memorial Day weekend. Hanneke/Oma (Erik's mom) was able to join us, which made Jennifer's drive to the Bay Area with the kids much more enjoyable (Erik was working). The baptism itself was beautiful, despite Alex's tantrum in the middle of the service (he's three--what else can I say?) Matty was a perfect angel through the whole service, and was very curious about everything!
