Well, some things are meant to be. We started our house hunting slowly by figuring out what we wanted in a home. Then a coworker mentioned that his sister-in-law and brother-in-law live in the area we were considering and that they're moving this summer and selling their house. We traded pictures, and were definitely interested. I traveled out there this past week to look at their house and about 10 others (with a realtor). We decided that the original house I went to see was the one, and can't believe how easily it fell in our laps! It is 4000+ square feet, with a fully finished basement. Four bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, living room, dining room, eat-in kitchen, 2-floor family room, office, rec room and bonus room. The schools for that neighborhood are among the best in the nation, which was very important to us. Here are some pictures, for those who are interested.

Kind of glad we missed this winter!

The kitchen was recently redone.

And the master bath as well.

Two story family room with tons of light

Beautifully landscaped yard

Recently redone powder room.
We are hoping the paperwork and the move go as smoothly as this did. Keep your fingers crossed!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!
That's beautiful!!
Can we come live with you? :o)
I think the commute might be a bit much for Dave, but should get better in the fall when we go back to USAFA...
We're praying we have that kind of house-hunting trip and find an awesome house like you guys did!
We'll miss you, though. :-(
So jealous except for the snow. That's beautiful!
What a perfect house! So glad you were able to find it so easily. I have my fingers crossed that everything else goes just as smoothly.
And I agree with Cathy's comment. :-)
We got lucky. Now for the hard part--paperwork and actually moving. I am going to miss you all, though.
