Well, today started with Matty falling out of bed at 12:30 am (he was ok--just needed a few snuggles). That kind of set the tone for the day, and ensured that Mommy & Daddy would be sleep deprived as Matty hogged the bed between us for the rest of the night. Erik and Jennifer are now exhausted, but the kids are full of energy and giggling instead of sleeping at 9:30 pm. Let's hope they sleep a little more than the 7 hours they got last night!
Ted & Kylie (our cats) are doing well. Kylie is handling the travel like a trouper, and Ted is a little bit freaked out by the whole thing. I am certain they will be happy to arrive at our new home.
Tomorrow we are off to Lincoln, NE--another long day on our cross-country adventure. REALLY looking forward to some time at the lake with Uncle Larry and Aunt Carolann in two days.
Erik would like to add his immense pride at Matty being fully toilet trained, even if it means he notifies us that he needs to poop at 9000 feet in the Vail pass, and then uses his little plastic potty on the side of I-70 as tractor trailers whiz by. Nice.
Thank you very much to Jack and Ginger Pope for letting us invade their home in Colorado Springs for the night. It was great to see you guys and wonderful to stop in a real home!

By the way I love that you have blogged more in the past 2 days than you usually blog in a month. HA! Hope your trip continues to go well.
