Finally blogging...

So, I've always thought it would be nice to have a blog, and now I'm finally getting around to it. Hopefully this will be a good way to journal the boys's activities and share pictures as they grow.

Alex has been testing us lately--I'm sure it's because he's now 3, and wants to push boundaries as much as possible to see what he can get away with. Just when I'm at my wit's end, he becomes the sweetest, most loving boy on the planet and makes me just want to hug him and snuggle with him all day. I guess that's all part of parenting, right?

Matthew is growing like a weed, and quickly beginning to show his own personality. He LOVES his big brother, and will sit and watch him play for hours (probably scheming how he's going to take away Alex's trains when he gets bigger). He is the sweetest, easiest baby--as long as you keep his diaper dry and keep him fed. We're still working on sleeping through the night--we had made great progress about a month ago, but were waylaid by a nasty cold. Part of the problem is that I don't want to keep the rest of the family awake. Guess I need to bite the bullet there and keep trying.

And here is a very rare picture of just Erik and me--most of our pics are of one of us with the boys. My mom took this during a very nice visit to Universal Studios. So that's all for now--I'm sure I'll be back with more updates soon.
